Lars and The Hands of Light

"A Lars and The Hands of Light is a new band from Copenhagen led by Lars Vognstrup. He is known through his bands Raunchy, Money Your Love, Wolfkin and extensive touring with Junior Senior. Later, he settled in Los Angeles, where he spend his time DJ-ing. During that time, he wrote a lot of new songs. He returned to Denmark to complete them in the Kondi Frost Studios, which are owned bis his Label Crunchy Frog. It's no coincidence, that Lars appears in his new band's name. He steps out of the shadow and presents himself as a Bandleader and Songwriter of international format. Some of his tunes are dry and hard, others warmhearted and intimate. All songs contain elements of 60s- and Girl Group-Pop with 70s Rock, Synth-Pop of the 80s and the golden era of Hip Hop. Popfans, as well as Nerds, Indie-Puritans and Soulboys will be collectively pleased with the combined coolness of entire decades, presented in a charmant, stilistic and emotional way.
